DOES THE BLOOD TYPE DIET REALLY WORK?

All you need to know about the blood type diet.

Made popular by naturopath Dr. Peter D’Adamo, the blood type diet garnered much support after Victoria’s Secret Angel Miranda Kerr made it known it worked for her. At SelfCare, however, after trying with diet with many of our clients, we realised it does not suit everyone, especially those with chronic ailments like diabetes, cholesterol, blood pressure, kidney disease etc.

 

Additionally, we found that the several restrictions in this diet were not convenient for many clients to follow. Of course, temporary benefits will be seen as with any new diet that shocks the body. Those facing a weight loss plateau may want to try this diet under the supervision of a nutritionist. Our advice, however, is always to follow a healthy lifestyle with well balanced meals.
